Welcome to MyThumbnail.net
MyThumbnail.net is a FREE WEBSITE THUMBNAIL GENERATOR application.
The small screenshot that you see on the right side of this text was generated this
very moment from Yahoo's home page (www.yahoo.com)
This service is provided for free by Web Studio Company. Here
at Web Studio we strongly believe in giving back to the community and this is just
our way of helping out. We found this service to be something nice and we hope that
you will also find it useful.
MyThumbnail.net can be used to create website thumbnails for your needs, or start
your own website thumbnail generation service for FREE based on our system.

How it works ?
The Website Thumbnail Generator checks if it already has website
image in the cache, and if it finds one it shows it in the browser. If no image
is found then a small script is being run on the server. The script would open Internet
Explorer, grab full sized website screenshot from it, and save image into the cache
folder. Then, once the image is there it is being automatically resized (without
distorting the image) and displayed to the browser so that you can see it. The image
is automatically saved as a high quality JPG file.
We've set the refresh time interval to one hour. This means that if you are generating
a thumbnail for site X right now, for the next 60 minutes the thumbnail for site
X will not be generated again. This refresh interval should not generate any major
issues but if you want to use this and are looking for a better refresh time, let
us know and we'll see what we can do!

How to use it ?
By already creating 4 thumbnails on this page, we have provided
you with 4 examples as to how you can use the script. You have to make a call to
http://www.mythumbnail.net/webthumb.php with 3 parameters :
- url : this is the url of the site that we should take a screenshot of.
- x : the width of the resulting image
- y : the width of the resulting image
Notes :
- the URL needs to contain the "http://" prefix
- it is best to specify both x and y
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us (for those of you who missed
it, the contact icon is in the top left area of the page)

Help the cause
We are constantly counting the number of thumbnails generated by
the system and we're happy to see that more and more people are using the system.
However, we are a bit concerned about how this will affect our server and if we'll
notice any problems we will be forced to shut it down. We hope this will not happen
but a small donation to help pay the bill (and maybe get a new server just for it)
would be appreciated.
For this purpose you can use the paypal button below or click on any of the ads
that are on this page.

Thanks !
